St Catherine's Hospice, Scarborough
New hospice building

Having outgrown their premises in Scarborough, St Catherine’s needed to find a site suitable to incorporate the various elements of this expanding facility.

Braithwaite & Jackman’s team were involved in assessing sites, gaining Planning Approval and providing a detailed design for the scheme, with close liaison throughout with the client. The project involved the integration of various elements of the scheme, such as the inpatients and outpatients unit, a chapel, educational and fundraising facilities and staff areas, in a setting sympathetic to the nature of the project.

The Site was formerly farm buildings on the edge of Scarborough overlooking the National Park.

The building was constructed under a Design and Build agreement.
